Mission

To provide access and education about the medicinal properties of fresh cut herbs to every family in our community.

Meet Tara

Hello All! I am Tara, owner of Tara's Herbs, Non-Profit.

In my early teenage years my father and I started a vegetable garden, planted many fruit trees and grew all types of plants, this is where my love of gardening sprouted. I have a pharmaceutical background, however, I was always interested in ways to help others naturally. Being gifted with this land by Sylvester Brown, Jr, founder of the Sweet Potato Project, has opened an opportunity for  me to teach others and provide herbs with health benefits. I am a former EarthDance Organic Farm School Apprentice, which helped me gain new knowledge and experiences in the garden.

Tara's Herbs will be developed as a herb garden, growing medicinal and culinary herbs. Tara's Herbs is a newly founded garden apart of the Gateway Greening Community. We are developing and hope to be in full service this upcoming Spring. Tara's Herbs will provide the community with fresh cut  herbs and also educate families on the health benefits  of each herb in the garden.

Tara's Herbs is located in the College Hill area of St. Louis, MO.  Feel free to make a donation to help make Tara's Herbs flourish and be a great asset to our community!
